It is with the love from our community that we are able to carry out our mission of empowering our scholars to be leaders dedicated to lifelong learning and service to others.
"I loved my time at MSM. It was challenging but gave me a wonderful education and fabulous memories were made there. It prepared me for college and life. To this day I feel welcomed and at home when I stop in." - Betsy Leous Bressette '77
"Teaching at Mount St Mary Academy gives me a sense of purpose more than most occupations. It has rewarded me with an opportunity to support and influence students in a positive way." - Donald Oliver, Mathematics Teacher
"The Mount has offered me opportunities that I don't think I would have had at any other school and it has made me overprepared for college in the best possible way! That is something I would want for any young girl out there, and I'm so grateful MSM is making that possible." - Claire Bressette '20
"My beautiful wife, Carol (Roland) , was a 1968 graduate of the Mount. It shaped her into the strong, resilient, independent woman she was. Tragically, she lost her battle with cancer on August 4, 2017. This motivated me to do something in her honor. To turn an ugly into a positive. First, I decided to create a scholarship in her name so that others could experience the joy of attending the Mount! Second, I joined the Board of Trustees as my way of using my years as an educator to help strengthen and continue the legacy of Mount St. Mary Academy. I found by doing this that it is that same special place that my wife attended more than 50 years ago. Strong, resilient, independent woman are still what I see attending and graduating from the Mount! What a blessing it has been for me and for so many others!" - Dr. Douglas Regan , MSM Board of Trustee Member
" After I left Mt. St. Mary and college, I was a teacher and principal for many years. When I would be encouraging young girls to choose MSM for high school , I would tell them: The skills I used as both teacher and principal, I did not learn in college. Those skills were learned at Mount St. Mary, in class and in after school activities, and I am forever grateful." - Sister Carol Ann Kleindinst '67, Member of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur
